Every year, Madeira welcomes students from all around the world to our campus. Below is information and requirements specifically for international applicants.
Standardized testing is required for admission to Madeira. We accept SSAT, ISEE, PSAT, or SAT scores:
Test registration must be done in advance, and scores must be set directly to Madeira from the testing agency. For the PSAT or SAT, we accept a copy of the parent or guidance counselor score report.
All students must complete an interview as part of their application for admission. A Zoom interview can be scheduled by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or through your Ravenna account.
Students from China are required to interview through Vericant. Applicants with strong fluency will be invited to interview with a Madeira Admissions Officer once their application has been completed.
Applications and all supporting documents must be received or postmarked by January 15. Applications received after January 15 will be considered on a space-available basis.
Stateside Guardian: All international students are required to have a guardian living in the United States who can be contacted in case of an emergency.
Health Insurance: All international students are required to have some form of international health insurance. International students have the option to purchase insurance through Madeira.
