Emily Reynolds

Emily is a graduate of Deerfield Academy and Dartmouth College where she was a four-year member and captain of the Varsity Swim Team. She has worked in admissions for almost fifteen years and joined Madeira in 2020 after spending 6 years overseas with her family. She lives on campus with her husband, 7-year-old daughter, and very large (and friendly) dog. Emily is deeply inspired by Madeira's mission to launch women who will change the world...because the world needs more Madeira girls!
Kevin Lawrence

Kevin Lawrence was born and raised in Montreal. He entered Avon Old Farms School, an all-boys boarding school, as an 11th-grader and thrived as a tri-sport student-athlete and leader. He attended Northwestern University, where he earned a football scholarship and was a four-year letter winner as a running back and a 2000 Big Ten Championship team member. He returned to Avon Old Farms, where he worked for six years as an admission counselor, advisor, and coach. He continued his career in admissions at The Lawrenceville School. Most recently, he worked as an educational consultant based in Shanghai, China. As a “girl dad” of a 13-year old, he enjoys working in a school community whose mission is launching women who change the world.
Tracy Crittenberger
Associate Director of Admissions
Tracy graduated from Madeira and Skidmore College. While at Madeira, she was on the white team, rode for 4 years, played basketball and tennis. She has lots fond memories of classes in Schoolhouse 1. She came to Madeira 11 years ago as the Director of Student Activities and joined the Admissions Office 6 years ago. She is married with 4 children and a puppy. Tracy loves being in admissions and having the opportunity to meet future Madeira girls and future alumnae.
Katie Fotofili
Director of Financial Aid & Associate Director of Enrollment Management
Katie holds a BA from the University of Florida. She joined Madeira in 2016 after spending four years teaching and grant writing in the Marshall Islands. She studied French and Russian and can also speak some Fijian and Marshallese. She is a campus resident and serves as a Dorm Parent in East. She loves her work bringing together students from all over the U.S. and the world!
Ashleigh Ninnis
Assistant Director of Admissions
Ashleigh grew up in a small village near Durban, South Africa and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Publishing from the University of Pretoria. With experience in Marketing, Communications and Admissions, she has worked in youth-centered settings all over the world including South Korea, Croatia, the UK and the US. Most recently, Ashleigh served as Director at an international summer camp in central Virginia, overseeing all aspects of their year-round marketing strategy and enrollment efforts. Ashleigh loved every minute of her all-girls high school experience in South Africa where she served as Sports Captain, Prefect and International Chair for their Interact society. Ashleigh looks forward to assisting future Madeira girls with the application process!
Vanessa Rocca

Vanessa was born and raised in Latin America while her parents worked overseas for the US Foreign Service. Growing up in both cultures has given her valuable experience and fluency in English and Spanish. She attended Mount Vernon College, an all-women’s college in Washington, DC where she earned a B.A. in International Relations. She has a diverse professional background with over 25 years of experience working in various bilingual and multicultural settings, including a role at the admissions office at the American School in Lima, Peru. Later, she gained extensive experience in data management while working at an international consulting firm managing a multi-lingual information system. Virginia has been her permanent home for over 30 years where she and her husband are raising two teenage boys. She enjoys photography, walking her dog, and touring Washington, DC. Vanessa looks forward to helping future Madeira girls and parents with the admissions process.
